Should Silicon Valley model be the standard? What are the ethical problems of centralised platforms? 

Centralization of economic value, weakening of worker's bargaining power, data privacy: platforms can have side effects if we only consider the silicon valley's models.

It doesn't fit with the serving of the general interest, whereas platforms could be seen as useful infrastructures to facilitate interactions within a community or between communities.

Let's have a look at the movements that propose to build positive platforms as respectful commons.
